Carbohydrates, proteins, and hidden fats : Come back to reality!

The Center for Science in the Public Interest “(Center for Science in the Public Interest), in its reports online, says that” the USDA (Department of Agriculture United States) authorizes the ground beef labels, statements which are illegal on other food.

“Ground beef accounts for 45 per cent of beef sold in the United States and brings more fat and saturated fat clogging the arteries, the regime of the average American than any other food. “The USDA does not allow more than 10 percent of the weight in fat for most foods that are labeled” lean. “But the USDA allows ground beef that up to 22.5 per cent of fat to be called “lean.” Naturally, this fat is “saturated.”

In contrast, plant proteins, such as cereals and pulses have much less fat than ground beef and none is saturated. Tempe, an Asian food made from whole soybeans fermented by a rigorous, has more protein than an equal amount (volume or weight) of ground beef, and also contains all the essential amino acids.

Try this as sound rules of healthy diet: Eat as many vegetables and fruits as you can, but no sauce without adding sugar, butter, margarine or cheese. This also applies to cereals, such as breads and pasta complete. Get at least some of your protein from plant sources. Avoid all foods fried in fat or oil.

I lost weight and one third of my blood cholesterol by reducing my consumption of beef and pork, increasing my consumption of fish and chicken grilled and baked, and find out about foods that soy are now available.

Even scientists can fool us. We have often heard one of my former colleagues describe his hyper-protein diet and low carbohydrate in biochemical terms theoretical and complex, so it was always at least 45 kilograms (100 pounds) overweight. He also ate and drank about three times more than me when we shared meals. Come back to reality!
